Working with the Skye and Lochalsh Community Foodbank we are in the process of setting up a distribution point outside the cafe. The intention is to install a waterproof cabinet outside the Community Cafe. Inside the cabinet would be shelving holding bags supplied by the food bank, and a small fridge. It is planned that unsold cakes, filled rolls and savouries would be placed in the fridge at the end of the cafe trading days, for anyone to help themselves.
